Cooking classes are a stepping stone towards learning how
to create better health for yourself and your famly. They also support
your Cleanse experience as you learn how to prepare the most basic to
more challenging recipes outlined in the BRCleanse manual.
Cooking
the Basics videos are available for viewing on this site, featuring how
to prepare Whole Grains: Millet, Brown Rice and Quinoa; Toasting
Pumpkin Seeds; Cooking Kale; Preparing Grain Congee; and how to include
Sea Vegetables into your daily diet.
Ingredients used in the
BRCleanse and cooking classes consist of whole grains, beans, fruits,
vegetables, legumes, sea vegetables, and on occasion, animal protein.
All ingredients are organic and locally grown when available. Each class
features a variety of recipes that offer you a wide range of meal
ideas. Each class also varies from the others providing new recipes and
cooking techniques.
Cooking the Basics classes are offered throughout the year at the StillPoint Schoolhouse kitchen in Blairstown, NJ. The cost per class is $50 and includes a full meal, instructions and copies of the recipes to take home.
